Governor Ahmadu Fintiri on Thursday, visited the Kirchinga community in Madagali Local Government Area following the recent attack by Boko Haram insurgents.
The Governor, accompanied by top government officials and security operatives, expressed deep sympathy to the affected families and assured them of government’s full support.
He strongly condemned the attack, describing it as cowardly and unacceptable, and reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to strengthening security across Adamawa State.
Governor Fintiri also directed relevant agencies to provide immediate relief materials to victims and conduct a thorough assessment of the damage with a view to supporting recovery efforts.
Residents of Kirchinga commended the Governor for the prompt visit, noting that it had boosted morale within the community.
Madagali remains one of the frontline local government areas facing security challenges due to insurgent activities in the region.
