Love him or not, FCT Minister Wike says if you live in Abuja, you’ve definitely seen Tinubu’s government at work.
According to cbinews.tv, FCT Minister Nyesom Wike isn’t having any of the talk that Tinubu’s administration hasn’t done much.
Speaking at his monthly media briefing in Abuja on Monday, Wike put it straight to residents: you can’t honestly live in the FCT and say you haven’t felt this government’s impact.
He’s not claiming the administration has ticked every single box. But he did challenge people to drop the sentiment and be real about what’s on ground.
His words: “Is it really just because people want to say they don’t feel the impact of this government? I’m not saying the government has done everything, I’m not saying so. But if you are really a resident in Abuja, can you, in truth, say you don’t feel the impact of this government? Forget about your sentiment, forget about, oh, I want my village man to be President. If you really stay in Abuja, will you say this government has not made any impact in terms of infrastructure?”
The message from Wike is clear: put aside personal bias and look at the roads, projects and changes around Abuja. Whether you’re a fan or not, he reckons the impact is right there to see.
