Seventy-five trucks, 663 tonnes of aid, and one clear mission, getting urgent supplies to families in Gaza.
Five UAE humanitarian aid convoys carrying 663 tonnes of food supplies and shelter materials have entered the Gaza Strip this week under Operation Chivalrous Knight 3.
Footage released on Sunday, August, 9, 2026 and credited to cbinews.tv shows aid laden trucks queuing outside the Rafah crossing before moving through on their way into Gaza.
Cbinews.tv reports that the five convoys comprised 75 trucks in total. The supplies were prepared at the UAE Humanitarian Aid Logistics Centre in Al Arish, Egypt, where teams receive, sort and prepare aid before dispatching it towards the Strip.
The UAE says it continues to send aid convoys regularly to help meet basic needs and support Palestinians in Gaza.
Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 was launched on 5 November 2023, under directives from UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, following the outbreak of the Israel Hamas war in October 2023.
