The state government has not issued an official comment on the matter.
Two senior media aides to Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa have resigned their positions within the past 48 hours.
CBI News reports that the aides are Pastor Taiwo Gbamila, Senior Special Assistant on Multimedia, who submitted his resignation letter dated February 16, 2026, and Olugbenga Abire, Special Assistant on New Media, who announced his exit via social media on Sunday and confirmed the governor's approval.
Neither aide publicly stated specific reasons for their departures, though reports suggest dissatisfaction within the media team, with speculation of potential further resignations.
