Speaking after the meeting, Trump said the leaders were able to settle “a lot of different problems,” although no major agreements have yet been officially announced on the key issues shaping relations between Washington and Beijing.

One of the biggest talking points was Iran. Trump revealed that both leaders discussed Tehran’s nuclear ambitions and agreed that Iran should not be allowed to possess nuclear weapons.
