Donald Trump is once again taking aim at major American media outlets, accusing them of twisting coverage of the ongoing Iran conflict and pushing what he calls “fake news” narratives.
Cbinews.tv reports that US President Donald Trump has renewed his attack on major American media organisations over their coverage of the Iran war.
In a fiery post shared on his Truth Social platform, Trump criticised outlets including the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, CNN and what he described as “all other members of the Fake News Media”.
According to Trump, even if Iran were to “surrender” and openly admit defeat, some media organisations would still portray the situation as a major victory for Tehran.
“The Dumacrats [sic] and Media have totally lost their way. They have gone absolutely CRAZY!!!” Trump wrote in the post.
Although the US president did not point to any specific reports that triggered his latest outburst, he has repeatedly accused sections of the American media of biased reporting throughout the ongoing US-Israeli conflict involving Iran.
Trump’s comments add to the growing tension between the White House and sections of the US press over how the conflict is being reported to the public.
