A 13-year-old boy has been charged with attempted murder after two boys, aged 12 and 13, were stabbed at a school in north-west London, police said.
The Metropolitan Police said the teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was also charged with possession of a knife on school premises and spraying an unidentified substance in the face of a third child.
He is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court later.
Detective Chief Superintendent Helen Flanagan said: “These are extremely serious charges against a young boy, and we continue to support the victims and their families, as well as the wider school community following this shocking incident.”
The incident occurred during lunchtime at Kingsbury High School in Brent on Tuesday, police said.
