Rufai Oseni denies reports of his suspension, describing claims as false and misleading...
Popular ARISE News presenter, Rufai Oseni, has dismissed reports alleging he was suspended from his job, describing the claim as false.
CBI News reports that the rumour began circulating online on April 14, 2026, following a post linked to Lawrence Igbins Okoro, which alleged that Oseni was sanctioned after a heated argument with a senior colleague.
The claim also suggested the disagreement escalated, leading to an incident where a table was struck.
Reacting via his verified account on X, Oseni firmly denied the allegations, stating that no disciplinary action had been taken against him by his employers.
He clarified that he is currently outside the country on an official assignment, noting that he is in Germany for work-related duties.
According to him, the report of his suspension is entirely fabricated and should be disregarded.
“This is a lie, the man is lying. I was not suspended, I am on a working visit to Germany. This is fake news, kindly report that account,” he wrote.
Oseni also urged the public to ignore the misinformation and report the account responsible for spreading the false claim, reiterating that he remains fully engaged in his duties and has not faced any sanctions from the media organisation.
