A quiet satellite station in central Poland bursts into flames, and Warsaw says it was no accident but a direct attempt to cut off the internet for Ukraine.

Video seen by cbinews shows the fire at a state-owned station in Wola Krobowska on Wednesday night. Deputy Prime Minister Krzysztof Gawkowski said it was designed to disable the site that routes traffic to Ukraine via Starlink and that many signs point to a new Russian doctrine.

Prime Minister Donald Tusk said it looks bad, though certainty is not yet 100 percent. The site is still working. The same night Poland scrambled jets after a Russian helicopter briefly entered its airspace.

Ukraine relies on Starlink for frontline comms, so any sabotage has real battlefield impact. Footage reviewed by cbinews.TV links it to a wider pattern.

Denmark's intelligence now says Russia will likely escalate hybrid warfare in the coming months, with a low but growing risk of a limited move against NATO.

Hybrid warfare means nonmilitary pressure like cyberattacks, sabotage and disinformation, using proxies to keep deniability. Germany blamed Moscow for a drone incident at Leipzig/Halle Airport, and France is hardening critical sites. Russia launched a full-scale invasion in 2022 and now holds about 20 percent of Ukraine, including Crimea annexed in 2014.

Overnight, Kyiv and Kharkiv were hit. In Stara Hnylytsi, six farm workers sorting vegetables were killed; four were women. In Kyiv, a maternity unit was damaged, and a director said a woman gave birth in a shelter, saying even on such a terrible night, life goes on. Moldova and Romania also reported Russian drones crossing their airspace. Polish probe continues, and NATO is on higher alert.
