According to reporting from cbinews.tv, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM) have officially strengthened their political cooperation ahead of the 2027 general elections by signing a Memorandum of Understanding in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The event took place at the PDP South-West Secretariat and drew a wide range of political stakeholders, party leaders, supporters, and governorship hopefuls from both sides. The gathering is part of broader ongoing coalition discussions aimed at building a stronger opposition front against the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The agreement was formally signed by Seyi Bamidele on behalf of the PDP and Oladele Oyadeji representing the APM. In a notable show of political weight, Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde and APM National Chairman Yusuf Dantalle also appended their signatures, further solidifying the partnership.
