Paul Okoye Threatens Lawsuit After Being Accused of Assault

Nigerian singer Paul Okoye, better known as Rudeboy, has vowed to take legal action against a social media user who accused him of infidelity and worse.

The woman alleged that Rudeboy cheated on his former wife, Anita Okoye, with their housemaid. She went further to claim that he raped or coerced the domestic worker, suggesting the maid was too young and powerless to refuse.

In her words:

“Raped/coerced their domestic help, she’s the help. How could she say no? Plus, she was most likely way younger.”

Paul, clearly upset, thanked those who drew his attention to the post and said he would stop at nothing to track the lady down. He warned that she would be held accountable, stressing that her “only way out is to leave the surface of this Earth and relocate to space.”

He described the move as a deliberate attempt to make her a scapegoat and a warning to others spreading false claims online.

“I hardly reply!!! But you see this one!!! @chubbiedivah, if you like, go private, leave X!! I will find you. I will use every necessary means, power, resource, and money. You will face the law; I will use you as an example (scapegoat). Your only way out is to leave the surface of this Earth and relocate to space. To everyone who brought my attention to her tweet, thank you,” he wrote.

The singer’s strong response has drawn support from fans and other Nigerians online who argue that defamation on social media should carry serious consequences.
