Just imagine Papara Park absolutely rocking, thousands of Trabzonspor fans in full voice to welcome one of football's biggest names.

In a truly incredible scene, Turkish giants Trabzonspor gave Egyptian superstar Mohamed Salah a welcome to remember on Thursday.

According to footage credited to cbinews.tv, the 34-year-old forward was all smiles as he greeted the sea of cheering supporters inside Papara Park, even performing the traditional Turkish 'triple greeting' celebration that sent the crowd wild.

It comes after reports that Salah has put pen to paper on a two-year deal with the club on a free transfer, following the end of his legendary spell at Liverpool.

Speaking to fans during his official unveiling, an emotional Salah said:

"The last couple of days, it's been an experience I've never had in my life. I just want to thank every one of you here today and yesterday. You showed me so much love, and I never expected that reception. I am here to win."

He added: "I want to win something with this club because you guys showed me so much love and I really appreciate that. I want to thank the president for making this happen, and I am very happy to be here. I can't wait to see you on the pitch."

Trabzonspor had invited supporters to attend the unveiling after confirming his arrival, marking a huge new chapter for the forward after nine unforgettable seasons at Anfield where he made 442 appearances, scored 257 goals and lifted eight major trophies, including two Premier League titles and the Champions League.
