The Oyo State Police Command paraded six male suspects arrested for various crimes, including murder, armed robbery, theft, impersonation, fraud, and the distribution of counterfeit currency.
During a press conference, the state Commissioner of Police, Femi Haruna, through the Public Relations Officer, CSP Adewale Osifeso, said the arrest was made in response to public concern about the re-emergence of “one-chance” operations in certain metropolitan areas.
The police spokesman displayed the items recovered from the criminally minded individuals, which included arms, ammunition, and stolen vehicles. He also lamented the rise in cases of car robbery syndicates popularly known as "One-Chance" suspects urging commuters to always ensure that they embark on their journey from only designated bus terminals and motorparks.
