The Oyo State Government has extended the curfew imposed on 10 local government areas bordering the Old Oyo National Park by an additional 24 hours.
According to a statement made available to cbinewstv, Governor Seyi Makinde approved the extension as part of ongoing efforts to tackle the security challenges in the affected communities.

The local government areas affected are Oriire, Orelope, Irepo, Saki West, Saki East, Atisbo, Itesiwaju, Iseyin, Olorunsogo, and Atiba.
The government has appealed to residents to continue cooperating with security agencies and fully comply with the curfew as authorities work to protect lives and property.
