With hundreds of thousands of voters set to decide Osun's next governor, the message is simple: don't sell your vote, don't cause trouble.

According to cbinews.tv, the Nigeria Civil Society Situation Room has sent a strong warning to voters ahead of the Osun State governorship election: steer clear of violence, vote buying, and any kind of electoral hanky-panky.
The group didn't mince words. They said the Federal Government will be held accountable if violence breaks out, and they've called on security agencies to actually step up and protect voters and the credibility of the whole process.
They also revealed that the military and other security outfits are already aware of potential flashpoints across the state, so they want proactive action, not after-the-fact stories, before, during and after the polls.

With such a large voter population, they say it's even more crucial for all stakeholders to act responsibly and let Osun people freely choose who governs them.
