Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, attended the “Fostering the Future Together Summit” hosted by Melania Trump at the White House in Washington, D.C..
CBI News reports that Oluremi joined 45 other first ladies, including Brigitte Macron, at the event focused on expanding access to educational tools and protecting children in digital spaces.
During the summit, Melania introduced an American-made humanoid system, Figure 3, marking the first time such technology has been formally presented to global leaders in a diplomatic setting at the White House.
“The future of AI is personified it will be formed in the shape of humans. Very soon artificial intelligence will move from our mobile phones to humanoids that deliver utility,” she said.
“This technology may reset the modern world order and rebalance power. Your children must be prepared to ascend within this framework.
“Our coalition can make this vision real by supporting concrete initiatives that equip young people with the skills they need invest, expand access, and foster new opportunity.”
Officials from nine countries including the United States, France, Poland, United Arab Emirates, and Morocco also presented strategies on integrating technology into education systems.
Melania urged participating nations to collaborate in achieving the summit’s goals, emphasising the importance of preparing young people for a rapidly evolving digital future.
