Calling all 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream I corpers, the countdown to your POP is officially on!
So, it’s finally happening, guys. The National Youth Service Corps has locked in Thursday, July 9, 2026 as the official passing-out date for 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream I corps members across Nigeria, according to cbinewstv.
The NYSC dropped the update on Wednesday via its official X handle, in a statement signed by Caroline Embu, Director of Information and Public Relations.
Here’s the gist: activities for the winding-up actually kicked off earlier this week on Monday, June 23. It’s a low-key affair this time, with things wrapping up with the Certificate of National Service distribution in all LGAs nationwide.
What’s on the schedule before POP?
Job Advisory and Counselling (JAC) sessions with NYSC and other agencies
Registration and clearing with your Local Government Inspectors
Final clearance signing by Zonal Inspectors
Just a quick heads-up, NYSC says only corps members who’ve met all the requirements of the service year will get their certificates. No cutting corners.
Brig.-Gen. Olakunle Nafiu, the NYSC DG, also sent his well wishes to all outgoing corps members. He’s urging everyone to keep flying the NYSC flag high and stay true to the scheme’s core values even after service.
