The Police Service Commission (PSC), in collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), has fixed April 28 to 30, 2026, for the written examination of applicants seeking enlistment as Police Constables.
CBI News reports that the examination will be conducted across designated centres in the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
The commission stated that only candidates who successfully passed the physical and credentials screening would be eligible to participate in the examination.
Qualified applicants are expected to log on to the official recruitment portal to print their examination invitation slip.
According to the PSC, eligible applicants are to visit the portal from April 24, 2026, to print their Examination Invitation Card, which contains details of their test schedule, including date, time, and venue.
The commission listed items candidates must bring along to the examination centres, including:
- A pen.
- National Identification Number slip issued by the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), with a clear photograph.
- Printed Examination Invitation Card.
Applicants are also required to appear in white shorts, white T-shirt, and white canvas.
The PSC reiterated that the recruitment process is free of charge and cautioned applicants against falling victim to fraudsters.
It warned that job racketeering, scams, and any form of financial inducement would attract legal consequences.
