Planning to sit for the NDA 78 Regular Course? Mark your calendar—key dates and instructions have just dropped, and timing is everything.
The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) has confirmed that its Screening Test for the 78 Regular Course will take place on Saturday, 13 June 2026, and it will be conducted simultaneously across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
According to information shared via the Academy’s official X account and reported by cbinews.tv, the screening is strictly for candidates who scored 180 and above in the April 2026 UTME conducted by JAMB, and who also selected the NDA as their first-choice institution.
If that’s you, keep an eye on your inbox—eligible applicants will receive an email on 20 May 2026, prompting them to pick their preferred state for the screening test. This step is crucial, as it helps the Academy allocate examination centres nationwide.
But don’t delay too long. Candidates are expected to complete their selection of test location by 24 May 2026 at the latest. The NDA has advised applicants to simply choose their state of residence to make things easier and more organised, given that the test will run at the same time across the country.
After that, candidates will be informed of their exact examination centres in the first week of June 2026.
The Academy also reassured applicants that all communications and further instructions will be sent via email, stressing its commitment to fairness, transparency, and equal opportunity for all qualified candidates across Nigeria.
