Single man out, married man in — and with a brand new golden mane to match. Cristiano Ronaldo is back in Riyadh and he’s not come quietly.

Cristiano Ronaldo has rocked up to Al Nassr training with a striking new look — a copper-yellow, almost golden crop — just days after reportedly tying the knot with long-term partner Georgina Rodríguez in Portugal.

The timing is pure Ronaldo. He was given extended leave by Al Nassr following the tournament and what is understood to have been a private civil ceremony with Rodríguez on August 11th in Cascais. The couple, together for almost a decade and parents to five children, are said to have confirmed the news with a simple, elegant shot of their wedding bands. If true, it closes a long chapter for one of football’s most followed couples.

There was a warm welcome waiting for him in Riyadh. New Al Nassr boss Ange Postecoglou and the squad are reported to have greeted their captain with applause at the training ground — a nod to both his return and his recent nuptials. The club’s own social media leaned into the suspense too, teasing fans with a “guess who’s back?” post before revealing the new-look skipper.

When Ronaldo joined Al Nassr in late December 2022 after his Manchester United exit, many critics called it a retirement tour. He’s made a mockery of that.
