Italian coach rewarded after steadying Juventus and pushing for Champions League return.
Luciano Spalletti will remain in charge of Juventus after agreeing a new two year contract, the Serie A club confirmed on Friday.
Spalletti is reportedly set to earn five million euros per season under the terms of his extended deal.
"We are delighted to have extended Luciano's contract for a further two seasons," said Juventus CEO Damien Comolli.
The 67 year old was appointed in October following the dismissal of Igor Tudor and was tasked with securing qualification for the Champions League.
"It is important that I tell you first before it becomes official that we have decided to extend my contract for two more years," Spalletti said in a video shared by the club, addressing his players.
Juventus have been encouraged by the impact of the experienced coach, who famously led Napoli to the Serie A title in 2023.
"Since Luciano joined our great Juventus family, he has had an immediate and very positive impact on our players, the whole club and the entire Bianconeri community," Comolli added.
Spalletti, whose most recent role was a difficult spell as Italy coach, has Juventus just one point behind fourth placed Como.
However, the gap is effectively two points after Como won both meetings between the sides this season.
Juventus will next face fellow Champions League hopefuls Atalanta on Saturday night.
