Governor Yusuf Visits Kano Troubled communities...
Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf, charged security agencies in the state to ensure the safe and unconditional release of all victims kidnapped in Tsanyawa and Shanono local government areas.
The governor gave this charge during an on‑the‑spot assessment of the security situation in the troubled communities surrounding the two local government areas.
Governor Yusuf said the recent spree of kidnappings in the state is alien to the people, while assuring them that the kidnapped victims will be rescued.
The commander of the 3 Brigade Nigerian Army, Brigadier General Ahmed Tukur, also expressed confidence that peace will be restored to the affected areas following the approval for the establishment of a Forward Operating Base in the Town.
