Looking to join the Federal Road Safety Corps? Your chance is here — and it won’t cost you a kobo.
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has just confirmed that its 2026 recruitment exercise officially opens this Friday, 3rd July, as reported by cbinews.tv.
If you’ve been waiting to apply, the window will stay open for four weeks only, and the whole process is completely free. Yes, you read that right — FRSC says “Application is free and attracts no cost,” so don’t fall for anyone asking for money.
How to apply
You’ll need to submit your application online via the official FRSC recruitment portal: https://recruitment.frsc.gov.ng. Once applications close, shortlisted candidates will be asked to bring printed copies of their forms to the screening.
The notice, dated 24th June and signed by Deputy Corps Marshal Pauline Olaye on behalf of the Corps Marshal, covers three main cadres.
Who can apply?
1. Officer Cadre
This one’s for the professionals. FRSC is looking for Superintendent Route Commanders, Route Commanders, Deputy Route Commanders and Assistant Route Commanders. If you’re a medical doctor, pharmacist, nurse, med lab scientist, lawyer, engineer, or you hold a B.Sc., BA or HND, you’re eligible depending on the role. Age bracket: 18 to 35.
2. Marshal Inspectorate Cadre
Got an NCE, ND/OND, RN/RM, or a Community Health Extension Worker cert? You can apply here. You’ll need to be between 18 and 30 years old.
3. Road Marshal Assistant Cadre
This is open to SSCE holders with at least three credits including English and Maths. Artisans and drivers are welcome too — think computer operators, mechanics, electricians, plumbers, tailors, motorcycle riders and drivers. Just make sure you have the right trade qualification or licence.
So, if you’ve got what it takes, mark your calendar for 3rd July and get your documents ready. And remember: apply only through the official portal.
