Good news for UTME candidates — JAMB has officially opened its change of institution/course window and is set to begin printing original result slips next week.
According to cbinews.tv, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that candidates who participated in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) can now begin the process of changing their institution or course of choice.
In a notice released on Friday by JAMB’s spokesperson, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, and shared via X, the board explained that candidates who wish to make adjustments to their choices are expected to do so through any accredited Computer-Based Test (CBT) centre nationwide.
The statement encouraged applicants to avoid unofficial channels and instead visit approved CBT centres to ensure their changes are properly processed.
In addition to this, JAMB also revealed that the printing of original 2026 UTME result slips will begin on Monday, May 18, 2026. Candidates have been advised to access the service through accredited CBT centres, alongside other related support services.
This update comes a few weeks after JAMB released the 2026 UTME results. At the time, candidates could only check their scores via SMS, as the official result slip printing was temporarily delayed.
