No more queues at CBT centres! JAMB has just made admission processing a lot easier for candidates.

Good news for admission seekers!

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has rolled out a new system that allows candidates to upload and verify their O’Level results without leaving their homes.

Previously, candidates had to visit Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres to get their results uploaded, but that process is now changing. With this new initiative, JAMB will verify results directly with the examination bodies, starting with the West African Examinations Council (WAEC).

According to JAMB’s Acting Director of Public Affairs and Protocol, Fabian Benjamin, the move is part of the Board’s commitment to making its services easier, faster, safer and more convenient for all candidates.

The Board explained that this technology-driven integration will put an end to long queues, unnecessary trips to CBT centres, and the stress of manual procedures. It will also tackle common issues like misplaced or mixed-up paper results, fake or unverified certificates, and mistakes in entering subjects and grades.

This is possible because JAMB’s e-Facility platform is now integrated with examination bodies, meaning your result is checked against the official records of the issuing institution before it is uploaded to your profile.

How to Verify and Upload Your O’Level Result From Home

The process is quite straightforward:

Visit the designated verification platform and enter your National Identification Number (NIN) to obtain a result verification code.

Select your number of sittings and examination body, then provide your email address and phone number.

Make payment using your debit card or via bank transfer.

After payment, enter your examination number, series and year to verify your result and generate your Verification Code.

Once verified, the result will be uploaded directly to your JAMB profile.
