Iran condemns US–Israeli attacks..

Spokesperson of the Iranian government Fatemeh Mohajerani on Tuesday March 10, 2026, condemned the US-Israeli attacks on her country.

"The goal of these attacks is neither freedom nor democracy; their goal is to divide Iran. They want to tear Iran apart and weaken it. Let's not forget this sentence; their own senator said it. 31 percent of the world's oil is in the possession of Iran and Venezuela. What will our share be from them? We must have a share of this oil," she said.

Mohajerani who spoke in Tehran's damaged Gandhi Hospital said that Iran was in the middle of negotiations.

"This is the second time this has happened, and while we are in the middle of negotiations, the negotiation table is being bombed," she added.

She also announced that among the victims of the US-Israeli attacks there were "206 women, children, and 193 martyrs are under 18 years old.

Mohajerani added that "the youngest victim was 8-month-old girl."

"52 health units have been attacked, 29 treatment units, 19 emergency units have been attacked, 16 ambulances have been targeted, 4 have been destroyed, one emergency helicopter has been destroyed, and 11 health care martyrs have been sacrificed," she reported.

On Sunday, March 1, 2026 Gandhi Hospital was struck by the US and Israeli forces.

On Friday, March 6, 2026 Iranian Red Crescent announced that "the US and Israeli air raids have killed 1,332 people."

Israel and the United States on Saturday, February 28, 2026 launched a joint military operation against Iran. Tehran responded with missile and drone attacks which targeted Israel and US military bases across the region.

Explosions were reported in several Gulf countries.

Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was confirmed dead in a strike on the first day of the operation. His son, Mojtaba Khamenei, was selected as his successor on Sunday March 8.

Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump said the new Iranian supreme leader would 'not stay for long' if elected without US consent.
