It’s crunch time in Ekiti. INEC says the numbers start rolling in at 10pm sharp.
So, here’s the latest from the Ekiti governorship election. INEC’s Resident Electoral Commissioner for Ekiti, Bunmi Omoseyindemi, has just confirmed that collation of results kicks off at 10pm on the dot, according to cbinewstv.
In a media briefing, Ekiti Election Rundown, Omoseyindemi said results from the different local government areas are already making their way in. He reassured viewers that INEC has everything set for a smooth collation process.
“We are expecting the results and will start the collation process by 10 o’clock on the dot,” he told Channels.
Meanwhile, polling unit results are still being uploaded to INEC’s Result Viewing Portal, IReV, after voting, sorting and counting wrapped up across the state earlier today.
It’s going to be a long night. Stay with us for updates as they happen.
