Residents are reeling from the latest incident, adding to the long list of deadly attacks in Guma.
A brutal overnight attack by suspected Fulani herdsmen in Guma Local Government Area of Benue State has left a family of four dead, throwing the community into grief.
CBI News reports that the victims, a woman and her three sons, were killed at Imande Dem settlement along Gbajimba Road in the local government headquarters of Uvir Council Ward, while they slept.
A retired Director of information Jerry Atero say the assailants struck at 2:00 a.m., targeting the household of a man previously killed in a similar attack, leaving behind a family of widows and relatives.
Meanwhile, Security personnel and locals evacuated the bodies, but authorities are yet to comment.
