CBI News takes you to Cameroon as Pope Leo XIV’s visit continues in Bamenda, where he is set to lead a peace meeting at St Joseph's Cathedral on Thursday, April 16, aimed at addressing regional violence.
The pontiff will remain in Cameroon through April 18, with his itinerary including a public Mass at Japoma Stadium in the coastal city of Douala on Friday.
The 10-day African tour, which began on Monday in Algeria, is focused on promoting peace, reconciliation, and strengthening the Catholic Church in the region. After Cameroon, the Pope is scheduled to travel to Angola and Equatorial Guinea.
