EPL champions Liverpool have paired FA Cup winners, Palace in the Carabao cup round of 16...

Premier League champions Liverpool will take on FA Cup holders Crystal Palace in the standout tie of the Carabao Cup fourth round.

CBI News reports that the clash headlines a round packed with intriguing fixtures across England and Wales.

Defending champions Newcastle United have been drawn at home to Tottenham Hotspur in another all-Premier League showdown.

The Magpies, who lifted the trophy last season, will be aiming to continue their defence against Ange Postecoglou’s side.

Arsenal, who last won the competition in 1993, face a tricky contest against Brighton & Hove Albion. Mikel Arteta’s side are eyeing their first League Cup title in over three decades.

League Two outfit Grimsby Town, shock conquerors of Manchester United in the third round, have been rewarded with another home tie against Premier League visitors Brentford.

For the first time, three Welsh clubs feature in the last 16. That ensured an all-Welsh clash, with Wrexham hosting Cardiff City in their first meeting since 2002. Meanwhile, 2013 winners Swansea City face the daunting task of hosting Manchester City.

Elsewhere, Wolves will lock horns with Chelsea, while Wycombe Wanderers welcome Fulham.
