Big developments from Enugu! Former Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Uche Nnaji, has reportedly been arrested by ICPC operatives at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport.
According to cbinewstv, the reported arrest comes after a Federal High Court in Abuja issued a warrant over allegations of certificate forgery. The court had earlier authorised the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) to declare the former minister wanted after he allegedly failed to honour several invitations from the anti-graft agency.
Reports indicate that Nnaji is expected to remain in ICPC custody while investigations continue.
The former minister has, however, consistently denied the allegations levelled against him.
