DOJ release file containing 2019 interview summaries in which woman alleged sexual assault as a minor...
The United States Department of Justice has released additional documents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation detailing interviews with a woman who alleged that President Donald Trump sexually assaulted her after being introduced to him by the late financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
According to the Justice Department, the documents were not included in earlier congressionally mandated file releases related to Epstein because they had been mistakenly marked as “duplicative.”
Their publication has renewed political scrutiny and intensified debate over how records tied to the Epstein investigation were handled.
The newly disclosed files reportedly contain summaries of FBI interviews conducted in 2019 with a woman who alleged that both Epstein and Trump sexually assaulted her when she was between 13 and 15 years old.
During one interview, she told investigators that Epstein took her to “either New York or New Jersey,” where he introduced her to Trump.
She alleged that Trump attempted to force her to perform oral sex and that she resisted, claiming she bit him during the encounter.
The interview records further state that the woman reported receiving threatening phone calls over the years as did individuals close to her warning her to remain silent. She believed the threats were linked to Epstein.
CBI News reports that the documents form part of a broader collection of investigative materials related to Epstein, whose criminal conduct involving underage girls sparked international outrage before his death in 2019.
Trump has repeatedly denied the allegations and has maintained that he did not engage in any illegal activity connected to Epstein.
The Justice Department previously stated that some materials released in connection with the investigation contained what it described as “untrue and sensationalist claims” about the president.
Meanwhile, Democratic lawmakers have accused the Trump administration of failing to ensure full transparency over records tied to the case.
The controversy escalated after a U.S. House committee voted to subpoena Attorney General Pam Bondi to testify about how the department handled the documents.
Lawmakers said the subpoena aims to determine whether any Epstein-related files were improperly withheld from prior disclosures.
