Edo APC Members hail party’s internal democracy..
The Edo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) has expressed satisfaction with the outcome of its recently concluded council election primaries.
The party stated that the exercise highlights the party’s commitment to democratic ideals.
The state Chairman, Jarrett Tenebe, described the process as orderly and hitch-free.
He added that the outcome reflects the party’s dedication to fairness, openness, and adherence to laid-down procedures.
The Chairman of the APC Council Election Primary Committee, Abdullahi Bello, revealed that the exercise was conducted across the state’s one hundred and ninety-two wards across the eighteen local government areas.
Bello added that party faithful actively took part in the process.
The party leadership added that it is optimistic that the outcome of the primaries will boost cohesion among members and enhance the APC’s chances ahead of the forthcoming council polls.
