It was pure bedlam in Madrid and Spain have not even lifted the trophy yet.
Spanish football fans brought the capital to a standstill on Tuesday night after La Roja sealed a superb 2-nil win over France to book their place in the World Cup final.
Footage obtained by cbinews.tv shows packed crowds watching the semifinal on big screens before bursting into chants, cheers and a sea of red and yellow flags as the final whistle went.
The belief on the streets? This trophy is already coming home.
One ecstatic supporter told cbinews.tv: We have better players than any other national team. This World Cup is already ours. It will be ours.
Another added: Nobody scares us. Not a single one. We are Spanish, damn it. This World Cup, whether it is Messi, Bellingham or whoever, Spain is going to win it.
On the pitch it was a composed and clinical display. Mikel Oyarzabal opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 22nd minute after Lamine Yamal was fouled, before Pedro Porro doubled the lead in the second half to put the result beyond doubt.
The victory sends Spain through to the final where they will face the winner of the other semifinal between Argentina and England.
