Medic blames army for attack as fighting between military and the RSF continues, UN condemns growing use of drones in the war.
A drone strike on a Sudanese city under paramilitary control killed 18 people on Thursday, according to a medic working in the area, who blamed the army for the attack.
Both sides in Sudan’s war have increasingly used drones, drawing frequent and strong condemnation from the United Nations.
The strike on Al-Mojlad on Wednesday killed 18 people and wounded 25 others, according to a medic at the city’s hospital, who said the military was responsible for the attack.
The paramilitary Rapid Support Forces have been fighting the army for nearly three years and accused the military of carrying out a drone strike on a market in Al-Mojlad.
