It's official, Cristiano Ronaldo is a married man! The football icon has finally tied the knot with his longtime love Georgina Rodríguez.
In what Portuguese media are already calling the wedding of the year, football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has married his longtime partner, model and influencer Georgina Rodríguez.
According to reports, the 41-year-old tied the knot in a civil ceremony on 11 August in the stunning coastal town of Cascais, near Lisbon. And in true Ronaldo family fashion, their five children were all in attendance for the intimate celebration.
The news broke when Georgina posted that now-famous ring photo with the caption, "Yes I do. In this and in all my lives" in Spanish - and honestly, the internet went into meltdown. The Instagram entry had more than 3 million likes within 30 minutes of being posted.
It has been a decade-long love story for the couple. They first met back in 2016 at a Gucci shop in Madrid where Georgina was working, while Ronaldo was lighting up La Liga for Real Madrid.
The wedding comes exactly a year after the couple announced their engagement, when Georgina showed off that enormous oval-shaped diamond ring. Ronaldo, who has scored nearly 1,000 career goals for Sporting, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus, Al Nassr and Portugal, recently played in his sixth World Cup - a record he shares with Argentina's Lionel Messi.
