Speaking at the launch, Emperor Chris Baywood Ibe, emphasized that CBI News is built on the foundation of credibility and innovation.

The launch event brought together some of the most influential voices in communications, media practice, advertising, corporate affairs, and digital strategy. Some of the dignitaries in attendance at the launch included veteran media personality, publisher and politician, Otunba Dele Momodu, Otunba Adeniyi Adebayo, a lawyer and politician who served as the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment of Nigeria from August 2019 to May 2023. He previously served as the first democratically elected governor of Ekiti State from May 29, 1999 to May 29, 2003 on the platform of the Alliance for Democracy AD, others at the event were former Nigeria Football Association President, Amaju Pinnick, former, Director General of Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, Dakuku Peterside, representatives of The Actors Guild of Nigeria led by Ambassador Cornel Udofia, Zaaki Adzie, Patrick Doyle and many more renowned personalities.

The event featured a thought-provoking industry conversation themed “The Trust Crisis: Rebuilding Credibility in the Nigerian Media Landscape.” The session explored how technology can be used to reshape public trust, deepen accountability, and set a new benchmark for factual reporting in the digital era.
