CBI News App on Android and iOS, was officially unveiled on Friday November 7, 2025, at the Lagos Marriott Hotel in Ikeja.

The App launch event brought together some of the most influential voices in communications, media practice, advertising, corporate affairs, and digital strategy.

Some of the dignitaries in attendance at the launch included veteran media personality, publisher and politician, Bashorun Dele Momodu, Otunba Adeniyi Adebayo, a lawyer and politician who served as the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment of Nigeria from August 2019 to May 2023. He previously served as the first democratically elected governor of Ekiti State from May 29, 1999 to May 29, 2003 on the platform of the Alliance for Democracy AD. He is the Chairman of the Board of Baywood Group. Others at the event were former Nigeria Football Association President, Amaju Pinnick, former Director General of Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, Dakuku Peterside, Executive Director at Bank of Industry, Mrs Ifeoma Uz' Okpala, representatives of The Actors Guild of Nigeria led by Ambassador Cornel Udofia, Zaaki Azzay, Patrick Doyle, Movie Director Kayode Kasum and many more renowned personalities.
