Brighton fans, get ready. The Seagulls have landed one of Europe’s most exciting young wingers and he is only 18.
As reported by cbinews.tv, Brighton & Hove Albion have agreed a £21.5m deal to sign winger Zadok Yohanna from AIK Stockholm.
The Nigerian starlet, 18, will put pen to paper on a five year contract at the Amex, with the move set to go through when the summer transfer window officially opens on Monday, 15 June.
Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler couldn’t hide his excitement about the new arrival. Speaking to reporters, he said: "I'm looking forward to working with Zadok. Having seen his games and his attributes, he is a player that can impact games in the final third.
"He's still young, and will need time to adapt to the club and Premier League, but he's an exciting player to watch and he brings the kind of creativity we know our fans will enjoy."
Yohanna’s rise has been rapid. He joined AIK Stockholm from Nigeria’s Ikon Allah Football Academy and made his debut in August 2025. Since then, he’s scored five goals and provided four assists in 18 appearances for the Swedish side.
It’s another big statement from Brighton, who continue to build a reputation for snapping up top young talent before the rest of Europe catches on.
