Governor Bala Mohammed says Bauchi is ready for investors, citing reforms and a forthcoming summit to showcase the state’s economic potential.
Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed has reaffirmed his administration’s determination to make the state a prime destination for investors ahead of the forthcoming Bauchi State Economic and Investment Summit.
Addressing participants at a Community Engagement Interactive Session in Bauchi, the governor said the summit would position the state as a competitive hub in both national and global markets.
Bala said the event, known as the Bauchi Roadshow, is designed to spotlight the state’s vast economic opportunities, stimulate private sector participation and deepen partnerships across key sectors.
Governor Mohammed stressed that economic development must translate into real benefits for citizens, noting that Bauchi’s youthful population and abundant natural resources offer significant potential for growth.
He outlined reforms undertaken to improve the ease of doing business, including simplified land registration procedures, enhanced security and greater transparency in government processes. He assured investors of strong legal protections and a stable policy environment to safeguard their interests.
CBI News reports that the Bauchi State Economic and Investment Summit scheduled for October 8 and 9 is expected to draw investors from across Nigeria and beyond.
