Tragedy has struck Kahir village in Kagarko Local Government Area of Kaduna State, where armed bandits attacked a wedding ceremony, killing thirteen people and abducting several others.

Eyewitnesses say the attackers shot indiscriminately, leaving many dead and others injured, while chaos forced residents to flee into nearby bushes for safety.

He added that the gunmen operated for nearly an hour without resistance, during which they also looted shops, making away with food items, provisions, and drugs from a local chemist
Bala maintained that the exact number of those abducted remains unclear due to the confusion that followed the attack.while victims have since been buried, while efforts are yet to establish contact with the abductors.
