MyCity App unveiled to promote hospitality, and other essential services across Nigeria.....
The Nigerian Government has launched the MyCity App to enhance digital access to city services and promote tourism in the country.
The app was initiated in collaboration with MTN Nigeria.

The Minister of Arts, Culture and Creative Economy, Hannatu Musawa, described the platform as a one-stop hub for visitors seeking reliable information on destinations, culture, hospitality, and other essential services across Nigeria, noting that it is positioned to transform the tourism experience.

Director-General of the Nigerian Tourism Development Authority, Ola Awakan, commended the partnership.
He stated that the app marks a significant step in driving digital innovation in the tourism sector.
The General Manager, Architecture and Engineering at MTN Nigeria, said the company’s commitment to enabling a modern, connected lifestyle inspired the development of the MyCity App. She added that MTN’s role as technical partner reflects the strengthening collaboration between government and the private sector.
Also, the Senior Special Adviser to the Edo State Government on Tourism and Creative Economy, Anto Lecky, said that the platform offers a valuable opportunity to showcase Nigeria’s rich cultural diversity to a global audience.
Stakeholders say the MyCity App is expected to bridge the information gap between cities and visitors, while positioning Nigeria as a more accessible and competitive tourism destination in the digital age.
