Adeoye engages stakeholder engagement, meets PDP excos, youths...
A Lagos State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship aspirant, Laja Adeoye, has stepped up consultations with party stakeholders ahead of the 2027 general elections, meeting executives, youth leaders and other groups across the state.
In a statement on Saturday, Adeoye said he met with Lagos PDP executives, South West leaders, the state women’s committee and the youth wing at the party secretariat in Ikeja on Friday as part of efforts to build consensus and momentum.
The aspirant said the engagements followed earlier consultations with party chieftains, including PDP leader Olabode George, local government chairmen and other stakeholders.
Adeoye presented his vision, tagged “Better Lagos 2027 Agenda,” outlining plans to reposition the state as a prosperous and inclusive mega-city.
He said a detailed policy blueprint would be unveiled at a later event involving party leaders, traditional rulers, business leaders and residents.
At a meeting with the Lagos PDP State Executive Committee, its leader Amos Fawole commended Adeoye’s efforts in promoting the party, describing his activities as strengthening the PDP’s position as an alternative to the ruling party.
Fawole also pledged support for Adeoye’s bid, expressing confidence that internal party challenges would be resolved.
