The African Democratic Congress ADC Kano State Support convened at the State Office to conduct a peaceful protest concerning certain perceived grievances.
The protesters were led by Muhammad Danagundi and Maryam Sani.
Upon arrival at Kano's INEC 's office they were formally received by the Head of Department, Muntari Abu, in conjunction with the Head of Personnel Management Buhari Shehu Ahmad and the Security Desk Officer.
The officials engaged the group in a constructive manner, attentively listening to their concerns and formally receiving their written submission.
The HOD assured the group that their grievances would be duly communicated to the appropriate authorities for necessary action and expressed satisfaction with the orderly and peaceful conduct of the protesters.
The members of the group, in turn, conveyed their appreciation for the courteous reception and the opportunity afforded them to express their concerns as responsible citizens.
Furthermore, security personnel, including Mobile Police officers were strategically deployed at the State Office as a precautionary measure. The officers on ground were said to have demonstrated a high level of professionalism in managing the situation, ensuring that the protest remained peaceful and free from any form of disturbance.
