Orya, in his farewell statement attributed his resignation as “a graceful bow out.”
The Commissioner for Youths and Sports in Benue State Tiza Isaac Imojime Orya has resigned his appointment.
Orya announced his exit in a statement which saying it is to pursue a political career, contesting for the Federal House of Representatives seat in Buruku Federal Constituency.
CBI News reports that the resignation, described as “a graceful bow out,” signals Orya’s intention to bring his experience and vision to the national legislative arena.
“Serving the youths and sports sector has been a rewarding journey.
I leave office proud of what we have achieved and optimistic about serving my people at the federal level,” Orya said in his farewell statement.
