Stands firm, dares Police on continued protests.
CBI News reports that despite the warning by the Nigeria Police Force, the Human Rights Activist and Publisher of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore, vowed to stage the #FreeNnamdiKanu protests in Abuja as scheduled to hold on October 20.
Nigeria Police warned organizers of the protest against a protest in the Presidential Villa and other locations.
At a press conference in Abuja, Sowore confirmed that the protest.
Sowore disclosed that he was not served with any court order against the protest.
The Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun directed the FCT Police Command to beef up Security against any protest that could lead to violence and other criminal acts within and around the Federal Capital Territory.
