Real Madrid players took part in their final preparations on Saturday November 29, 2025 as they geared up for their clash against Girona.
Footage showed the players train under the watchful eye of Head Coach Xabi Alonso. Star forwards Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior worked on their shooting drills, while goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois also took part in the session after his midweek absence.
"Tomorrow we need a great match, a good win to keep adding 3 points at a time if we want to stay at the top. That's the goal. And the team is doing well; we've got people back, so we're in better shape," Alonso told reporters in his pre-match press conference.
Alonso praised the chemistry between Mbappe and Vinicius Junior, he added that their form has been central to the team's recent success.
"That connection, that quality they have, that complicity they have, how well they get along - you can see it on the pitch. The other day it was very noticeable," Alonso noted.
Los Blancos were at the Estadi Municipal de Montilivi on Sunday November 30, 2025 evening, there they took on 18th-place Girona.
